Hectic semester

Hello bloggers! :) I was finally back in school and it was the most overwhelming experience of my life. never had i taken so many classes in such short amount of time. I think i survived the semester (i still have some final projects to hand in) but i'm glad it happened. I will go back to my blogging roots and start posting the work ive done over the semester. One club boot camp is coming up soon so im pretty exited about that. i will finally be able to work on an advertising project alongside people i know nothing about. i'm glad to be back on this little space i call home on the internet.

projects for summer

This summer a lot has been going on regarding designs projects. i got the incarnation project in which we are designing a banner for a church. i'm doing the company branding of a cleaning business in Illinois (the business belongs to my aunt)  and last but not least i'm doing posters for real state
My computer is dying and i haven't been able to make new post (the one i'm using is not mine) i'm so glad after this design hiatus i'm still able to design something decent.

RRRandom Series

Late night edition
Here i'm using a photograph my friend jacob took in a fundraiser. I wrote the word "missing" because it took me a long time to figure out that there was a person in the middle of the photo. Night everyone!

RRRandom series

Listening to some old tracks i decided to add more pieces to the RRRandom series.
i've been using a lot of triangles in my work recently and i think is time for me to step away from that shape because it has become my comfort shape in my compositions. i need to try something new.

RRRandom series

i haven't posted anything in a while so i decided to have more fun with type and shapes. I used a font called LOT along with another font called Derkar light. Out of randomness i spelled out the word "abri" wich is french for shelter. For the background i used photoshop watercolor brushes. I'm happy with the outcome of all of this. See you guys in the next post

Chinatown

Photography by Eduardo Mendez and Yee Ho.

Last monday I went with my good friend Yee ho to chinatown to help him with his photo essay. We had a lot of fun taking pictures and i finally had an excuse to leave the bronx. My photography class its finished for this semester and i'm sad to see it over. i had a lot of fun with that class and it made me love photography even more. Although i sometimes feel that my photography skills are not up par i still enjoy going out and taking photos. i will definitely keep shooting.
